Dedicating our baby to God...

Yesterday was a very special day for us ... it was Hallie's baby dedication. As we officially in front of God and our family and our church family dedicated her to the Lord (in our hearts we did that when we found out we were expecting), I was filled with gratitude. This child has only been in our family for four months and she has already brought us so much joy. Our family would not be complete without her. As most milestones do now, this one brought with it a sense of sadness and longing for the baby that wasn't meant to live on this earth. But our beautiful Hallie is such a blessing and we are so incredibly thankful to have her in our lives.
